A message from Robb Good, President, Good & Roberts, Inc.
Lately we've heard from some of you that many General Contractors have become less than trustworthy when dealing with subcontractor bids. While we understand the need to be competitive, we have never believed our success should come at the expense of our clients, partners or employees. We value our partnerships with the subcontracting community and know that you play a vital role in our mutual success. In honor of that trust, we make the following commitments to you:
-
We won’t shop your bid.
-
We won’t use your bid to secure a project and then demand kickbacks from you to have the subcontract awarded.
-
We will work with you to solve issues that arise on our projects and strive to deal with you on a fair and equitable basis.
-
We will make every effort to make sure you receive payments promptly.
In exchange we ask you to provide us with fair, accurate quotes based on the plans, specifications or other bid documents. We also ask that you help us mitigate the risks in construction by:
- Complying with our safety and insurance requirements.
- Reporting issues early and working collaboratively with us to solve issues in a manner that is considerate and fair to all parties involved.
By working together we will create positive
customer, partner and employee experiences.
