Declan Suites Hotel – Entry & 12th Floor Renovation

This project consisted of the renovation of 20,250 SF of space at the Declan Suites Hotel in downtown San Diego. The renovated areas included the existing lobby, public restroom, bar, restaurant, meeting rooms, fitness center, pool area and the interior of five elevators on the twelfth floor. The scope of work included the replacement of light fixtures, new bar plumbing, reused mechanical, and updates to the fire alarm in affected areas. The team also demolished ceilings, walls, and floors in the bar/restaurant and fitness areas and reconfigured the new layout and finishes. The team provided and installed all new bar equipment and obtained Health Department permits and sign-offs. The work was performed in about eight different phases to accommodate the active hotel and to keep the facilities running.
