The project consisted of a new 48,500 SF shopping center and community hub in multiple Type V buildings in Imperial Beach, including associated site work. Located at Palm Avenue and Ninth Street, the project was planned as a public/private partnership between Sudberry Development and the City of Imperial Beach. Grocery Outlet was the anchor tenant at the center, with national and local operators of stores, restaurants and other businesses making up the rest of the space. The project involved a redevelopment of a 4.75-acre site extending over a three-block area of Palm Avenue.
